About Us
It’s likely that if you’ve found this page you already know us. On the off chance that you don’t we’re Nick & Kajsa.
I am Swedish/Canadian and my husband Nick is American; we’ve been living together in the USA since 2019. Nick is a technical consultant with an electrical engineering background and I’m a sustainability manager with an environmental engineering and sustainability background. Although we work in different fields, we have a love for travel in common.
We’re looking to start capturing our trips more formally on this blog as a hobby. We’ll start with our biggest trip yet, where we’ll be taking 14 months off work to travel full time with—you guessed it by the website title—just two backpacks. Family have nicknamed it the “World Tour”. Eventually the hope is to add our other trips on this site as well. I’ll include information on expenses, what we get up to, and the good to knows for each of our destinations. Bare with us as we figure out how to capture these moments better over time.
